Sonic and & Mario invade Banter
Ok so we are finally getting their with our new Hop Pole Studios offices! We currently have the wonderful world famous Tameside artist Sara Watson painting our mural on the main studio wall. She’s helped us to come up with the most awesome (in our opinion) design ever for the wall. We have taken inspiration from both Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Bros for the design but with a Banter Twist.
You’ll see the end of stage sign from Sonic now has the Banter Media logo inside it instead of Sonic. You’ll also see the item TV box on top of one of the Sonic platforms… this will also have a Banter logo inside of it when it is finished. Next is to add a series of Sonic Rings on the Sonic side and some Mario coins in the Mario stage.
The Banter bot will have pipes flying out of him like on our website and they will continue throughout the whole room.
It really is a dream come true for us to be in Hop Pole Studios and seeing the mural take shape is helping to make that dream a very imminent reality. We’ve looked at Google, Facebook and other offices over the years and pagned to have something as fun and entertaining as that. For this reason we have set a goal for ourselves at the Hop Pole to make this as a fun place to both work and play. When you come in to record your next track or to talk about a video shoot we hope you’ll feel at home in our new playground that is Hop Pole Studios.
I want to share some of our inspiration with you… there’s one company, Go Media, in the States who, since being introduced by our friends at Huntingtown, have been very much a company we’ve looked up to. However, Banter has been growing exponentially for a while now and I think Hop Pole Studios is a clear indicator of our ambition. I can’t wait to sit back in the finished studio and take photos for the website. It is going to be something very very special!
Here’s a few photos of things we’ve been inspired by:
